This album is the result of over two years of work. At first I was just going to release a collection of my more experimental music pieces, but then I started creating collage videos for each one and it became a multimedia project. Videos for fifteen of the tracks are featured in the 2018 Currents New Media Festival in Santa Fe, NM.

The music combines acoustic/natural sounds with various analog and digital electronic elements to form a surreal mix of abstraction and recognizable musical styles that incorporates the randomness of dreams with a trip through a fun house. Snippets of jams are intermingled with samples and found sounds to produce a modern psychedelic experience. Many layers of sound (and video) were slowly stripped down and molded into compositions using subtractive composition techniques.

Influences include: Musique Concrete, Negativland, The Beatles "Revolution No. 9", Public Enemy, John Cage, Aphex Twin, Stravinsky, Bartok, the tunnel scene from the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie, and much more.

Will Ragano Boston, Massachusetts

Will graduated from Berklee College of Music, after receiving a degree from the Southwest Guitar Conservatory.

While at Berklee, he played in the twisted electro-funk-punk band Psycho Tec, which later morphed into the highly acclaimed band Think Tree, who toured Europe twice, opened for Nine Inch Nails, won numerous awards and played many sold-out shows at large venues in Boston and New York. ... more
